Chollamolla is a recipe book by Hayley Sieff featuring a range of family recipes handed down from the author’s Grandmother as well as many of her own additions and firm family favourites. The book gets its name from a Saturday morning tradition of using leftover cholla bread to make French toast, and there are other traditional Jewish recipes that have been tweaked and personalised by the family over time like gefilte fish, chicken soup with matzah balls and instructions for the ideal Friday night dinner.

Illustrations were commissioned for many of the recipes and this in turn informed the colour palette used throughout the book; the different sections were colour coded across section openers, introductions and other secondary information. Hardback in a turmeric yellow cloth, the book is an unusual size, inspired by an old Smythson diary Hayley received as a wedding present that was used to jot down recipes.
